Boston's Seaport District

Boston's Seaport District, a micro-neighborhood of South Boston north of First Street, lies south of the Fort Point Channel and Boston's Financial District.

For many decades what were long-neglected stretches of waterfront have recently undergone vast re-development after a $4 billion harbor cleanup. In lock step with changes up and down Boston's waterfront, the Seaport District has recently seen an influx of both commercial as well residential construction.

The area is now home to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the Institute of Contemporary Art, several new hotels, restaurants, office towers and an array of contemporary loft living residential condominium buildings. Loft options range from renovated warehouses to newly built green buildings with many units featuring stunning views of either Boston Harbor, or Boston's downtown skyline.
